Miguel Corcho (flamenco)
Singer Miquel Corcho was born in 1949 in Coria - Spain. Miguel started singing from a tender age accompanying his older brother in local performances, when it was realised that he had an exceptionally good voice and carried the right feeling to be notable flamenco singer. He has over the years included his original work and the works of such greats as Antonio Molina and Juanito Valderrama into his repertoire.
Miguel remains singing... and his special style stirs up listeners both in his native Spain and away, he is thus enjoyed by a broad public audience. His voice is unique and embraces the mood the music creates, this is much appreciated by flamenco fans.

MIGUEL CORCHO - There are many styles to be heard on "Aires Extremenos" that are not frequently heard, el Garrotin, los Colombianas and los Tanguillos de Cadiz. This album gives a good picture of the repertoire of Miquel Corcho. A traditional yet slightly modern portrait of flamenco singing.
Guest musicians are: Arturo Ramon (guitar), Erminia Fernandez Cordoba (vocals), Udo Demandt (percussion), Johan Frauenfelder (guitar).
